Why didn't you show up a couple of months earlier, when
I tried to learn what a channel is. :)

BTW I don't get your refcount bugs here.
Maybe you missed the latest larger overhaul?
There were some deeper corrections on August 15.

What I *do (did) get is an XXX undetected error, wehen I try
to run waiting.py and _socket is not compiled. Will try to
track down if this happens with stock Python as well.
