Just a note:
Channels and tasklets support inheritance very well.
Instead of acquiring a channel, you can also derive
as follows:

class MyChannel(stackless.channel):
     __slots__ = []   # this avoids a __dict__
     def __call__(self, value):
         self.send(value)
