It's interesting from a Kamaelia perspective as well which has similarities on 
some levels to stackless, but uses standard python. It's particularly 
interesting looking at their design goals because they mirror the contents of
a whitepaper on Kamaelia from June last year. ( http://tinyurl.com/pzpbg )

I can't see why Microsoft would want operating system independence though :-)
