The way I would do it is to subclass channel to handle this
and to add some form of checking based on one of the available
versions of tasklet sleep functions.

yes please! I do not quite understand yet which standard python things
work with stackless and&nbsp; which to avoid.<br>

I'll be glad to post back the drop-in replacements when they are&nbsp; known
to work.<br>

BTW: I am looking for a overview of all the features of the stackless
module but I can not find it. Am I just looking in the wrong place?<br>
